Your business at a glance

Overview

The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your business performance for the current month, including revenue, expenses, profit, and outstanding amounts owed to you.

Stat Cards

Total Revenue

Sum of all finalized and paid invoices for the current month. This is your top-line sales figure.

Total Expenses

Sum of all recorded expenses for the current month across all categories.

Net Profit

Revenue minus Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) minus Expenses. This is your bottom-line profitability for the month.

Outstanding Receivables

Total unpaid balances across all finalized invoices (status: finalized, partial, or overdue). This is money owed to you.

Charts

Revenue Trend (Last 6 Months)

A line chart showing monthly revenue for the past 6 months. Use this to spot seasonal patterns or growth trends.

Top 5 Products by Revenue

A bar chart showing your top 5 best-selling products by total revenue this month. Helps you understand which products drive your sales.

Expenses by Category

A donut chart breaking down your expenses by category (Fuel, Rent, Marketing, etc.) for the current month.

Invoice Aging

A stacked bar chart showing outstanding receivables grouped into aging buckets: Current (not yet due), 1–30 days overdue, 31–60 days, and 60+ days. Larger overdue amounts need urgent attention.

Quick Actions

The dashboard provides shortcut buttons for the most common actions:

  • Quick Sale Opens the mobile-first POS terminal for fast walk-in sales
  • New Invoice Opens the full invoice creation form
  • Record Expense Opens the new expense form
  • Receive Stock Opens the goods receipt (GRN) form
Tip: The dashboard refreshes its data each time you navigate to it. All figures are calculated from live database records — there is no caching of financial metrics.
